Last week I took my grade 5/6 class to the Cardinal Gallery (1231 Davenport Rd., Toronto) and it was excellent! They feature photography and gave a talk about the content and process of the photography to enthusiastic (read not very still) students that was excellent – age-appropriate and inclusive of all our students. Cupcakes and the owner’s dog also made an appearance. Back at school, one student asked the others to rate the trip on a scale of 1 to 10. “11”, said one student, “With 5 extra points for the dog!”
