Elementary Educational Assistant is the occupation with the highest events of violence resulting in lost time injuries, according to the WSIB in June, 2019. They deserve to make enough money to be able to support their families. More than that, they deserve the chance to participate in collective bargaining with their employer (the provincial government). I work with many excellent education workers who make a big difference in the lives of many children. What we pay them is a reflection of how we value our children. I believe they deserve more.
