Here’s a few books to read over the summer!
1. Lost and Found – Helping Behaviourally Challenging Students (and While You’re At It, All the Others) by Ross Greene. A few Special Education teachers have recommended this author to me as “the” one to read on Special Education.
2. Rookie Teaching for Dummies by W. Michael Kelly. Although it says it is for Rookies, this book has so many great ideas for all teachers and is easy to read!
3. Teaching with Humor, Compassion and Conviction by Heather Hollis. Teaching literacy skills in a shame free classroom with practical suggestions for building community.
