Primary – BE SILLY! Do funny voices when you read, make funny faces, pretend to fall or to fall asleep. Don’t be afraid to look silly – they love, Love, LOVE this! Just be sure you can bring it back in when it’s time to do work.
Junior – Tell jokes and do games – they love riddles and games at this age. Let them try to figure something out or try to beat you at juggling. Let them tell jokes and riddles e.g. What has hands but cannot clap? A: A clock.
Intermediate – Be relevant. Talk about a popular show on tv or a popular video game or a popular band. Let them know you know something about their culture – show them your favourite emoji or app.
