I saw a former student today at a friend’s church.  I taught him gr. 8 music and dance.  He’s now in grade 10.  It’s fun to see former students.  Although, sometimes it’s a bit shocking … like the student who contacted me on Facebook when she was 18 – I had taught her grade 7 music – or worse, former students who recognize me at salsa clubs… I guess the very first students I ever taught would be around 34 now.  I could possibly have taught their children!!
