Hi Everyone,
Flavours in Japan
- There’s no Ranch flavoured anything, but there’s tons of seaweed flavoured things!
- Ice cream is usually green tea or red bean paste flavoured – red bean paste is better.
- Pizza and salad almost always have corn in it. Many things are corn flavoured.
So, as I was driving myself and a friend home from my course in Hamilton, my car started dying. I started praying in tongues that it would make it to the next exit and to a gas station or somewhere. It did and I called CAA. I prayed in tongues again that it would be something that could be fixed cheaply. It wasn’t. Then, I was thinking, if it was God’s will for my car to die, I was probably really praying “Die car, die!”. So, I’ll be taking the bus from now on.
The course I took in Hamilton was on deliverance and discernment, by Paul Cox. It was great and I really feel I have more tools to use when I pray for people and I also feel I understand the spiritual realm more and am able to discern it more.
The House of Prayer in Saitama has invited me to come for a trial period and I have agreed. It looks like the earliest I will be able to go is May. They may have an apartment I can share with one of their worship leaders right over the House of Prayer – so that would be great if it works out (I think). They are starting a Senior’s day care centre around the New Year and are hoping they can get me a visa that way.
At church, we used the tape recorders I brought from Japan to record prophesies for people. They are advanced tape recorders, and we had them on the wrong setting (the fast setting). So, all our voices came out like the Chipmunks! We have it fixed now.
I did the meditation for Jazz vespers. Jazz vespers is jazz music in church interspersed with meditations about 2-5 min. long. It went well. I did the same thing last year and my friend who organizes it wants to do more. He says I have the look for it! Oh, and the meditations are good too.
Prayer Requests
- I still need more funds to go to Japan and more funds monthly to stay (I am speaking in a few churches and to Bible study groups. I’m still supply teaching).
- The details of me going to Saitama could be worked out – especially a visa.
- I would get better at waiting (one would think I’d be an expert by now but I’m still pretty terrible at it).
Thanks all!
love,
Amanda
