About Amanda
Author: Amanda
Hello and welcome to my website. Here’s a bit of information about what I do.
I’m an intercessory missionary at a House of Prayer in Tokyo, Japan.
What do I do? I pray. A lot. Ok, I do more than that. I also co-lead an international young adults fellowship group, lead worship and prayer meetings, counsel, mentor, Bible teaching and I also teach English.
Here’s some terminology I often use.
Intercessory Missionary: one who is dedicated to causing change in the lives of people, in cities and in nations through prayer, worship, fasting and outreach
The International House of Prayer (IHOP): a prayer ministry based in Kansas City, that is devoted to 24/7 prayer and worship to pray for revival and that is dedicated to raising up people who have an intimate relationship with God (and not a place to eat pancakes – did you read about the fasting?)
Catch the Fire Toronto (formerly TACF): the best church ever (also, my home church) who sent me out as a missionary and home of the Toronto Blessing, also “that church in Toronto”
Amanda Yuill’s Vision Statement: To be equally partnered with Christ and to see others come to the same place through prayer, encouragement, teaching and dance.
Japan: 130 million people and less than 1% are Christian. They are mostly Buddhist and Shinto (ancestor worship – see Walk Disney’s “Mulan”).
Newsletter: If you would like to receive my monthly prayer letters, or have any questions, please email me at amanda@yuill.ca
Support: If you would like to partner with me financially in this work, you can make cheques out to CTF. Please put “JapanAmanda” in the memo section. Credit card giving and direct deposit are also available, please contact me or the church to get the forms. Again, please put “JapanAmanda” on the forms.
You may send cheques to:
CTF Accounting Department
272 Attwell Dr.

You will receive an income tax receipt at the end of the year. Thank you!
